The opportunity
As our Claims Delivery & Enablement Specialist you will:
- Lead and govern the Claims Delivery & Enablement Framework across all claims and servicing models driving consistent execution optimisation and sustainable performance improvement.
- Embed strong governance practices that support compliance with Trustee obligations Trust Deed provisions SIS legislation internal policies and regulatory expectations.
- Provide technical leadership and operational enablement supporting high-quality timely and consistent claims outcomes across all life insurance products.
- Drive a data-led continuous improvement program focused on enhancing decision timeliness service efficiency member outcomes and cost-to-serve performance.
- Translate strategic initiatives into practical operational outcomes through process system and capability uplift activities.
- Develop and oversee meaningful performance reporting metrics and insights aligned to service standards KRIs and partner agreements.
- Deliver actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making regulatory engagement and ongoing enhancement of the Funds insurance and claims strategy.
- Lead the Insurance Claims Delivery Roadmap ensuring clear priorities accountability and delivery outcomes across monthly and quarterly cycles.
- Govern training accreditation and knowledge management frameworks that strengthen capability consistency and scalability across the claims function.
- Partner closely with insurers administrators and internal stakeholders to foster collaboration improve service delivery and achieve sustainable operational performance.
About you
Youre a trusted insurance claims specialist who combines deep technical expertise with a passion for continuous improvement. You thrive in complex environments build strong stakeholder relationships and have a proven ability to influence positive outcomes.
Youll bring:
- Demonstrated experience within insurance claims superannuation and/or administration environments.
- Significant technical expertise across life insurance claims assessment management and decision-making.
- Experience operating in case management and relationship-focused environments.
- Strong leadership and influencing capability with a proven track record of driving operational uplift and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into practical business outcomes.
- A strong understanding of the superannuation and life insurance landscape including relevant legislation regulatory obligations and industry best practice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- The ability to manage competing priorities navigate complexity and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude strong learning agility and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for members.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are desirable.
- Insurance industry qualifications including AIA or equivalent certifications will be highly regarded.
