We are looking for a Claims Advisor to join our Workers Compensation team and manage a portfolio of personal injury claims.

This role is based at our Shelley St. office in Sydneys CBD. We also offer a hybrid work environment meaning you get to work from the comfort of your own home 3 days per week post training.

What youll do

• Obtain and review medical financial investigative and rehabilitation reports to assist in the accurate assessment of individual claims.
• Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with ongoing review of medical financial investigative and rehabilitation reports.
• Adopt appropriate strategies to resolve claims cost effectively.
• Ensure early access to appropriate rehabilitation so that injured claimants can achieve optimal recovery from their injuries.
• Provide an excellent level of customer service to the legislative authority employers and injured workers through compliance with legislation timely response times and efficiency in processing.

What youll bring

• Previous Workers Compensation claims or personal injury claims experience with a track record for delivering results.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer.
• Allied Health experience desirable.
• Excellent verbal communication skills listen build rapport communicate complex information and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders included claimants third-party providers external bodies and internal teams.
• Strong administrative and written skills and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of each claim within the restraints of the State legislation.
• Strong commitment and a high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectations.
