About the Project
This role supports the delivery of critical Defence infrastructure as part of ACCIONAs expanding Defence portfolio. The project plays a key role in strengthening Australias Defence capability and is delivered in a highly regulated environment with strict quality safety and compliance standards.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Night shift Supervisor with a civil background in drainage excavation pavements FRP and concrete
Key accountabilities
- Supervise civil and structural construction activities in line with program safety quality & environmental requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors plant and materials to ensure efficient site operations
- Conduct site inspections and maintain daily reporting and records
- Ensure compliance with Defence standards specifications and quality systems
- Act as a safety ambassador on site promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements
- Monitor progress and assist with planning and sequencing of works
- Track site activities and costs ensuring works are delivered in line with the approved budget and identifying any variances
- Contribute to risk management issue resolution and continuous improvement on site
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience in a Supervisor role across civil and structural scopes on infrastructure or building projects
- Strong understanding of sitebased construction delivery quality and safety systems
- Strong leadership communication and organisational skills
- Teamfocused mindset with the ability to drive performance on site
Due to Defence security requirements applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
