An exciting opportunity with a privately QLD owned civil construction company who focus on delivering a range of projects within roads structures utilities and urban projects. This contractor has a reputation as a reliable and fair contractor who maintains positive relationships with stakeholders and clients.

We require a Civil Supervisor to work in Hervey Bay and surrounding regions on urban and civil infrastructure projects ranging anywhere up to $20M. With anticipation of future work on the Bruce Highway Safety Program this will come into play pending experience. This Supervisor will have experience on Main Roads TMR civils bulk earthworks and urban. You will help ensure that daily production targets are met with demonstrable skills in daily and weekly planning while ensuring a safe working environment.

Reporting to the Project Manager your duties will include:

• Planning for all resources included plant labour materials and subcontractors
• Site management and construction of civil works
• Managedirect and subcontract workforce
• Program management
• Client and stakeholder dealings
• Conduct pre starts and weekly toolboxes
• Ensure that all work is in compliance with workplace health and safety
• Monitor the activities to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules

This role will suit an experienced Supervisor looking for a new challenge and keen on DIDO to Hervey Bay. If you are also looking to step away from the city lifestyle and relocate up North to a coastal town this is welcomed and encouraged.

We are ideally looking for a Civil Supervisor with over five years relevant civil infrastructure (earthworks drainage & pavements) experience across local Australian projects including DTMR or similar. Ideal to have come up through the ranks from Operator Labourer Leading Hand to Foreman/Supervisor.
