Civil Manager

An opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Manager to join a growing engineering consultancy in Adelaide. This is a senior role combining technical leadership project delivery team management and client development.

You will play a key role in growing the civil engineering capability delivering quality outcomes for clients and helping shape the future direction of the business.

• Lead and manage the civil engineering team across a diverse range of projects.

• Oversee civil design and project delivery from concept through to completion.

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.

• Manage project budgets resources programmes and quality.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients contractors and stakeholders.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the South Australian market.

• Prepare proposals fee submissions and tenders.

• Work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated project outcomes.

• Assist with recruitment team development and building the civil capability within Adelaide.

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.

• Significant experience within an engineering consultancy.

• Strong experience across civil design and project delivery.

• Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and industry requirements.

• Established relationships across the Adelaide engineering property or infrastructure market.

• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of client management and business development.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• RPEQ/CPENG or equivalent professional accreditation will be highly regarded.
