Job Summary

We are seeking and experienced Civil Drafter to join our Urban Transport team on Gold Coast.  

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing drafting for concept design through to construction certification for simple to complex road pavement cycleway and DDA compliant infrastructure.
  • Producing detailed civil drawings for small to large scale greenfield and brownfield developments as well as commercial industrial and medium density projects.
  • Collaborating within project teams of engineers receiving technical advice and direction to navigate through technical challenges and issues.

Qualifications :

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience ranging from beginner to expert level with demonstrated technical exposure to urban transport or civil engineering.
  • A Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Construction Design Engineering Drafting or a related qualification.
  • Technical expertise in civil design drafting with knowledge of relevant guidelines Australian Standards and Local Council Planning Schemes.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal engagements.
  • Proficiency in industry standard software packages such as AutoCAD or 12d.
