Civil Designer Digital Engineering

Join AECOM and help deliver civil infrastructure that communities rely on every day. We seek a proactive Civil Designer/Drafter who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment communicates clearly and delivers accurate timely work that advances project outcomes.

How youll make a difference

• Contribute to the delivery of safe sustainable and reliable civil infrastructure for the community providing detailed designs drawings and documentation across roads earthworks stormwater utilities and related works while ensuring outputs are buildable and compliant.
• Apply technical expertise to solve complex design challenges that comply with Australian Standards client requirements and relevant authority specifications.
• Coordinate seamlessly with engineers and project teams in a highly integrated environment while upholding design/drafting standards and quality to deliver to agreed scope budget and schedule.
• Drive continuous improvement by refining standards workflows and design practices.
• Leveraging the capability and capacity of AECOMs network through workshare.

The qualities that help you thrive

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Design (or similar) desirable.
• Ideally 3 years experience in civil engineering design/drafting within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Practical experience applying AustRoads and TfNSW standards in civil design.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; clear concise documentation and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience using 12D and/or Civil3D for design and drafting respectively.
• Competency with AutoCAD ProjectWise ACC.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revizto and other specialist software beneficial.
