Whats the role

Institutional Banking Data Digital & AI

Westpac Institutional Bank is investing in a next-generation CRM platform to transform how we manage and grow relationships with corporate and institutional clients. We are seeking a Chief Product Owner CRM to define and lead this critical capability at the intersection of data digital and AI.

Reporting to the GM Data Digital & AI this role owns the end-to-end vision strategy and delivery of an enterprise CRM that becomes the system of engagement for bankers and a foundational asset for client insight growth and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the CRM product strategy and roadmap for relationship-managed clients
• Lead end-to-end delivery of a scalable AI-ready CRM platform
• Create a single trusted view of clientdriving data quality governance and integration across core systems
• Embed actionable insights and next-best actions directly into banker workflows
• Drive adoption and behavioural change across frontline teams
• Partner across business risk compliance and technology to deliver secure compliant and high-impact outcomes
• Manage key technology vendors and platform partners

What do I need

• Proven experience leading CRM or complex data/digital products in a regulated environment
• Deep understanding of institutional banking / corporate client lifecycle
• Strong product ownership capabilitystrategy prioritisation and execution at scale
• Experience delivering large transformation programs (agile environments)
• Expertise in data platforms governance and client data management
• Strong stakeholder leadership with the ability to influence at executive level
• Exposure to AI-enabled use cases and embedding insights into workflows
