How you will make contributions that matter
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen operations at Cheese World in Allansford.
In this hands-on leadership role you will be responsible for creating exceptional food experiences leading back-of-house operations and ensuring the kitchen consistently delivers high-quality food and service.
Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Cheese World kitchen ensuring high standards of food quality presentation and service.
Design and develop seasonal menus catering offerings and special event menus that showcase Saputo Dairy Australia products.
Manage food preparation stock control supplier ordering and inventory to support efficient operations.
Monitor food labour and wastage costs to achieve budget and profitability targets.
Train coach and support kitchen team members while fostering a positive team culture.
Maintain compliance with food safety quality and workplace health and safety requirements.
About you
Qualified Chef with a Commercial Cookery qualification.
Holds (or can obtain) Food Safety Supervisor and RSA certifications.
Previous experience as a Head Chef Sous Chef or similar leadership role.
Strong menu development food preparation and culinary creativity skills.
Experience managing food costing budgets inventory and supplier relationships.
Highly organised with strong leadership communication and problem-solving abilities.
