About The Service
At KU Yagoona we focus on STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics). Young children are avid STEM investigators eager to explore and invent. STEM learning gives a label to what we are already doing in our program encouraging children to observe ask questions and integrate their ideas.
About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic educator with a completed Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification to join the KU Yagoona preschool team.
This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday (7.6 hours per day).
About the criteria:
Along with relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)and a sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) you will need:
- To be available to work full time as above
- Australian working rights
- A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
- A National Child Safety Training Certificate
- A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
