Category Manager Facilities and Service Solutions, Pacific
Job Summary
An exciting opportunity is available for a Category Manager to join our team in Sydney or the Gold this role you will be responsible for leading the sourcing initiatives across a portfolio of Facilities and Services Solutions categories within the Pacific region. This role is pivotal in driving cost effectiveness supplier performance risk mitigation and value delivery across our supply base. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver impactful procurement solutions to our hotels and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive multi-year category strategies for laundry & linen energy guest entertainment and housekeeping labour hire delivering measurable cost quality risk and sustainability outcomes.
- Lead end to end sourcing and contract negotiations managing supplier performance SLAs and continuous improvement to ensure value for money outcomes
- Identify and mitigate category risks ensuring supplier compliance with WHS modern slavery and regulatory requirements across the Pacific region
- Build strong partnerships with hotel GMs Operations Directors and cross-functional teams to ensure strategies are practical adopted and aligned with hotel needs
- Embed sustainability targets into supplier selection and performance supporting Accors broader ESG commitments
Qualifications :
- 5 years experience in category management or strategic sourcing ideally within hospitality facilities services or a comparable services category.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Administration Procurement or a related field.
- Proven experience in global sourcing or managing international supplier networks.
- Understanding of ESG sustainability and responsible sourcing practices.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complexity and deliver practical outcomes
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills across senior and cross-functional audiences
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to balance commercial outcomes with operational needs
- Results-oriented and data-driven approach to decision-making
- Strong risk awareness and compliance mindset particularly in regulated or complex operating environments
