Casual Cleaner Downer Rail Maryborough

We currently have an opportunity fora self-motivated reliable Cleaner atDowner Rail in Maryborough QLD. This position will provide effectivesupport to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the daily cleaning services within an industrial site.

The requirements for the role are:

• The majority of the shifts will be casual day shifts from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm 20 hours per week

• There will be opportunities to cover full-time morning shifts when permanent staff are on leave or absent

What youll do

A day in the life of our Cleaner is incredibly diverse and you can expect it will involve some of the following responsibilities:

• General cleaning of corridors offices lunchrooms
• Toilet cleaning
• Rubbish removal

• Supportthe Cleaning Supervisorensuring contractual obligations are met in all aspects of cleaning.

• Maintainhigh quality and co-operative relationships with client staff in the assigned area.

• Display a strong level of team commitment whilst also having the ability to work autonomously where required.

What youll bring

• 2-5 years cleaning experience within a commercial or industrial setting Desirable
• Experience using commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning products
• Knowledge and understanding of cleaning practices and Occupation Health and Safety procedures and legislation
• Experience knowledge and understanding of commercial cleaning equipment
• Confident and professional well-groomed and high level of personal hygiene
• Have a can-do attitude
• Youll be able to work independently
• Have highly developed attention to detail
• Ability to set priorities meet deadlines and establish timeframes.
