About the Role
As a Casual Administration Officer youll provide flexible administrative and clerical support across a range of hospital departments. No two days are the same with opportunities to work in diverse clinical environments while building valuable healthcare administration experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional reception and customer service support
- Managing telephone email and face-to-face enquiries
- Assisting with patient admissions and registrations
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry
- Supporting clinical teams with administrative tasks
- Coordinating documentation and filing systems
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with NSW Health procedures

- Demonstrated administration and/or customer service experience
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills

- Ability to work flexibly across different departments
- Completion of all NSW Health onboarding requirements including relevant checks and mandatory training prior to commencement

Training and Support
Youll be supported from day one through a structured orientation program mandatory NSW Health training and guidance from experienced administrative and clinical staff. Additional department-specific training will be provided as required ensuring you have the tools and confidence to succeed.
