Due to continued growth of our business we have an exciting new opportunity for a Cash Operations Officer to join our collaborative Finance team. You will be reporting to the Cash Operations Team Leader and will have responsibility for a broad range of cash and contract applications direct debit and payment processing invoicing and reconciliation functions.

Responsibilities

• Processing of daily direct debit files cash application allocation and reconciliation of customer loan and lease receipts.
• Processing of contract terminations and contract and dealer maintenance
• Processing of daily dealer payments and loan and lease origination funding.
• Assistance with month-end closing and GL reconciliations.
• Support the Team Leader Cash Operations in driving continuous process improvement activities.
• Participate in transformation initiatives across Cash Operations.
• Collaborate with other relevant teams and project leaders across the business to suggest develop and drive improvement to systems processes and staff development.

Your background

• Knowledge of Financial Services with an Accounting degree completed/ partially completed.
• Experience in data processing/ payments and or cash application and management would be beneficial.
• Strong and empathic customer focused approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
• Strong organisation and interpersonal skills.
