Case Manager – Long Term Management

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Case Manager Long Term Management to join our Workers Compensation team. In this role you will manage a portfolio of complex and long-term claims working closely with injured workers employers treating health professionals and rehabilitation providers to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

What Youll Do

• Manage a portfolio of long-term and complex Workers Compensation claims

• Develop tailored recovery treatment and return-to-work strategies

• Support injured workers experiencing complex medical vocational or psychosocial barriers

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders

• Review medical information and identify opportunities to improve recovery and work capacity

• Ensure claims are managed in line with relevant legislation scheme requirements and organisational policies

• Maintain accurate claim records while meeting key service and regulatory requirements
  

About You

You will bring:

• Previous experience managing long-term and/or complex Workers Compensation claims

• Strong knowledge of the relevant Workers Compensation scheme and claims processes

• Experience supporting injured workers with complex recovery and return-to-work needs

• Strong communication stakeholder management and negotiation skills

• The ability to manage sensitive or challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
