Reporting to: Family Support Team Leader
NBAC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Case Manager to support families individuals and community members to strengthen skills overcome challenges and build long-term wellbeing. This role blends direct case work capacity-building and community connection within a supportive and culturally safe team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive trusting relationships with families and individuals.
- Support clients to develop practical life skills at home and in the community.
- Identify barriers and collaborate with families and stakeholders to address them.
- Maintain accurate case notes and ensure all data is recorded as per program requirements.
- Strengthen links between families community groups cultural networks and support services.
About You
- You genuinely care about people value cultural respect and can work collaboratively in a fast-paced community setting. You bring:
- A relevant qualification OR experience in human services community work family support or a related field.
- Understanding of vulnerable children young people and families including trauma attachment and child development.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and diverse cultural groups.
- Ability to work as part of a supportive team and travel within the region as required.
Essential Requirements
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (valid and current)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (valid and current)
