The Role
As the Care Manager your responsibilitieswill expand across clinical governance staff management change management AN-ACCand resident care. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Commitment to ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all resident
Knowledge of the aged care sector standards
Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
Developingmonitoringand implementing nurse care plans assessingplanningand evaluating existing care plans
Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents
Participating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered toin accordance withaged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies and procedures.
Actively supervising training and mentoring all RNs and PCWs
About You
The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
Experience within Aged Care Sector asa Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
Infection Prevention and Control Qualification (desirable)
Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards accreditation and auditing processes and AN-ACC
Personal and professional commitment to deliveringhigh qualitycare the development of yourself and your staff and the overall continuous improvement of the home
Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
Complete a police check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
