Job Summary

Care Assistant
Available Shifts:
Week 1 - Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday - 10.15pm - 6.45am
Week 2 - Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday - 10.15pm - 6.45am
- Sunday - 6.30am - 2.30pm
Maximum Term Contract - Leave Relief until 7th February 2027 - opportunity to extend at completion.

Newcastle Anglican is seeking experienced Care Assistants to join on a permanent and permanent part time basis our Aged Care Facility atKilpatrick Court - Toronto. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care home.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to work in a great team environment. You will have the opportunity to make every moment matter by bringing respect compassion integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote Anglican Cares positive culture through interactions with residents staff and their families
  • Consistent delivery of person-centred care to residents in our facilities
  • Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
  • Abide by Aged Care Standards
  • Work as an effective team member

About you

  • Certificate III/IV in Individual or Ageing Support or 2nd/3rd Yr RN student
  • Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
  • An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
