About The Opportunity
Due to overwhelming demand our client is seeking a self-motivated Caravan Service Technician to support their rapidly growing Service Department.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager you will work within a small team of skilled technicians on a diverse range of caravan repairs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing parts and accessories
- Pre-delivery of new and used caravans
- Servicing brakes and bearings on caravans
- Diagnosing problems and carrying out repairs and maintenance
- Installing diagnosing and repairing 12V electrical systems and components
This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 38 hours per week with regular overtime and Saturday work.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A current drivers licence
- 12V experience preferred
- Experience and competence using hand air and power tools of all types
- A trade background or previous caravan mechanical experience highly advantageous
- Strong troubleshooting ability to determine causes of operating errors and develop solutions
