At NRMA Parks & Resorts were passionate about creating memorable holiday experiences for our guests. Nestled on the stunning Mid North Coast and situated on the traditional lands of the Dunghutti People our South West Rocks Holiday Resort is a popular destination for families holidaymakers and travellers year-round.

Were seeking an experienced and hands-on Cafe Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy onsite café.

About the Role

This is a practical leadership position where youll be actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the café while leading and mentoring a small team. During peak trading periods including weekends public holidays and school holidays youll be front and centre ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operational delivery.

What Youll Do

• Lead and support café operations ensuring outstanding customer service
• Manage and monitor food and beverage budgets
• Control labour costs and optimise staffing levels
• Prepare and manage team rosters
• Recruit train and develop team members
• Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor stock levels ordering and supplier relationships
• Drive profitability while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction

What Youll Bring

You are a motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front.

Youll bring:

• Previous experience managing a café restaurant or similar hospitality venue
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing budgets labour costs and stock control
• Excellent rostering and workforce planning capabilities
• A customer-first mindset and passion for creating great guest experiences
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends school holidays and peak trading periods

Essential Requirements

• Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and/or Food Handling Certificate
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• Full Australian Working Rights
