The Role

We are seeking to engage a Cadet Drafter to join our Rail & Metro team in Brisbane to contribute to the development and production of some of the largest rail infrastructure projects across Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation of schematic and production drawings under supervision
  • Performing general office duties under supervision
  • Assisting more senior drafters with the analysis of tasks and problems
  • Production of construction-level documentation
  • Check print procedures
  • Issuing procedures
  • Vault data management processes

About You

  • Enrolment in an Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
  • Willingness to learn Civil Infrastructure and CAD technologies
  • Willingness to learn CAD technologies with emphasis on the Autodesk suite of products
  • Ability to interpret and carry out instructions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a diverse and multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Full working rights
