About the Role

Working across both brands this Authorised Paint & Panel Network Specialist is responsible for developing managing and continuously improving the OEMs authorised collision repair network. The role ensures customers receive high-quality safe and efficient vehicle repairs that align with manufacturer standards while driving customer satisfaction brand protection repair quality and network profitability.

The role works closely with authorised repairers insurance partners dealers technical teams and parts operations to ensure consistent repair capability across the network.

Key Responsibilities

Network Development & Management

  • Implement and manage the OEM Authorised Paint & Panel Program.

  • Recruit assess appoint and onboard authorised repair centres nationally.

  • Develop network coverage plans to support vehicle parc growth.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews with network partners.

  • Ensure repairers maintain compliance with OEM standards and requirements.

  • Manage network agreements and authorised repairer contracts.

Repair Quality & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain OEM collision repair standards and procedures.

  • Conduct facility audits capability assessments and compliance inspections.

  • Ensure repairers utilise approved repair methods equipment and tooling.

  • Monitor repair quality performance and implement corrective actions where required.

  • Support investigations relating to repair quality concerns and escalations.

Customer Experience

  • Promote exceptional customer outcomes throughout the collision repair journey.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance.

  • Drive initiatives to reduce repair cycle times and improve communication.

  • Support resolution of complex customer cases and escalations.

Insurance & Industry Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with insurance companies assessors and industry stakeholders.

  • Support collision repair programs with insurer partners.

  • Represent the OEM at industry forums and collision repair events.

  • Promote OEM repair standards and genuine parts usage.

Technical & Training Support

  • Work with Technical Training teams to develop repair capability within the network.

  • Coordinate body repair and refinishing training programs.

  • Identify emerging repair technologies and future network requirements.

  • Support repairers with technical guidance and repair procedure access.

Genuine Parts Performance

  • Promote genuine parts utilisation throughout the Authorised Repair Network.

  • Work closely with Parts Operations to improve parts availability and supply.

  • Monitor parts capture rates and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Support initiatives that increase genuine parts sales and customer safety outcomes.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Develop and maintain network performance dashboards.

  • Monitor key business metrics including:

    • Repair quality

    • Customer satisfaction

    • Repair cycle time

    • Compliance scores

    • Genuine parts utilisation

    • Network coverage

    • Repair volume

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years experience within the automotive collision repair industry or experience working with an OEM in an authorised Paint & Panel program.

  • Experience managing repair networks body shops dealer operations or aftersales programs.

  • Strong understanding of modern vehicle construction and repair methods.

  • Knowledge of OEM repair requirements and collision industry standards.

  • Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management experience.

  • Strong commercial and analytical capability.
