It is pivotal in delivering people-first solutions that enable our staff and volunteers to thrive. Acting as a trusted advisor the Business Partner will take the lead on complex workplace matters while championing positive change and continuous improvement ensuring best practice compliance and a human-centred approach in everything we partner closely to:Provide strategic leadership and best-practice P&C advisory support to leadership teams driving the successful delivery of business programs projects and organisational initiativesAdvise and coach managers staff and volunteers on workplace complaints and grievances leading complex investigations and recommending appropriate actions to key stakeholdersDevelop and conduct effective wellbeing and wellness initiatives throughout the organisationDesign and implement organisational change initiatives in collaboration with P&C Managers ensuring best-practice change management and effective support for employees throughout the transitionDrive continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of P&C services to enhance efficiency effectiveness and stakeholder experienceCollaborate with specialist teams including Recruitment Payroll WHS and the P&C Shared Services teamsIf youre passionate about creating inclusive high-performing workplaces and enjoy balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery this is your opportunity to make a meaningful youAs an experienced People & Culture partner youll be comfortable working in fast-paced & complex environments be confident providing expert guidance on workforce matters and helping create a positive inclusive and high-performing will demonstrate a working knowledge of Modern Awards (in particular SCHADS) Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards and ability providing advice and recommendations relevant to legislative frameworks across best practice a contemporary approach to stakeholder engagement you build trusted partnerships to influence decision-making and deliver pragmatic evidence-based P&C solutions aligned to strategic and operational demonstrate:Sound technical knowledge and expertise in operational Human Resources (HR)Not-for-Profit sector experience (highly regarded)Experience project planning and implementation including experience in leading processes of workplace change amidst restructures and business transformation activitySound analytical skills and demonstrated ability to assess evaluate and interpret data to make considered and ethical decisions with the ability to clearly describe the rationale behind decisions and recommendationsStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage support challenge and influence: working with internal stakeholders to problem solve providing pragmatic best practise solutions to emerging people issuesAbility to provide quality P&C advice and internal consultancy support which are directly related to the organisations strategic direction and business needsAbility to coach and upskill managers to effectively manage people issues within their teamsSound technical knowledge and experience in interpretation and application of industrial instrumentsAbility to work under general direction from senior employees work independently and with people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working environmentAbility to set priorities plan and organise their own work to manage and support the competing needs of the client group and P&C initiativesAbout Australian Red CrossWe are part of the worlds largest humanitarian movement.
