Business Manager Oncology
Job Summary
Reporting to the Country Head the candidate will be responsible for driving the launch activities for the Companies Innovative assets in Australia. The candidate will primarily be responsible for sales calls with medical oncologists and relevant healthcare professionals across the country and support the implementation of marketing programs. The incumbent will work closely with medical global commercial operations & cross-functional teams to ensure success in the execution of marketing strategy and implement sales plans. The candidate is expected to spend 75% of their time on sales activities and 25% of their time supporting marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving the sales targets for the Companys products
- Meet the coverage and frequency targets (selling to oncologists oncology nurses and oncology pharmacies)
- Implement educational initiatives like in-service to HCP and education them on managing patients on Companys products.
- Present the Companys products in a clear understandable and professional manner.
- Provide assistance to Company in promotional activities such as trade shows product presentations sales calls and other activities of Company with respect to the products.
- Achieve management-defined KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for efficient and proactive account management and/or key account management.
- Drive formulary submissions and ensure products are listed on all hospital and state formularies
- Report regularly competitive insights and competitor activities
- Will ensure Company CRM and data base are maintained and fully up to date in accordance with Company Performance Matrix which the Company reserves the right to change in line with their business strategy.
- Execute comprehensive brand strategies and launch plans aligned with brand portfolio and business objectives.
- Lead the implementation for brand plan including pre-launch/launch activities market preparation launch execution and post-launch scale-up.
- Develop robust marketing insights to the Brand Plan with a patient-centric focus. Maintain an up-to date understanding of customer perspectives through regular engagement with healthcare providers and stakeholders across Top 10 countries
- Manage promotional budgets to optimize channel mix strategies for all marketing initiatives and cross-functional campaigns.
- Manage key opinion leaders and HCPs engagements effectively in collaboration with medical
- Play an active role to ensure flawless execution of brand initiatives This requires extensive cross functional collaboration
- Achieve KPIs and drive effectiveness of launch initiatives and track brand performance against launch goals
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualification
- Min 3 years of experience in oncology sales
- Strong selling skills coupled with strong analytical and influencing skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and sound knowledge of protocols
- Ability to travel frequently as per requirements of the role
- Ability to think strategically and be entrepreneurial
- Marketing/Brand Management experience is preferable
- Good interpersonal presentation and cross functional skills.
- Hands-on proactive approach and accountability
- Experience to work in and lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- Ability to multi-task
Knowledge Skill & Experience
- Proven experience in implementing integrated brand plans
- Effective cross functional team player
- Ability to apply strong patient centricity empathy and understanding of customers
- High business acumen.
