Business Development Manager Weddings & Social Events

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager Weddings & Social Events to lead the growth of our event business at Avani Cypress Lakes Resort. This is your chance to combine sales leadership with hands-on event delivery in one of Australias most picturesque destinations.

About the Role:

As the BDM youll take ownership of our weddings and social events portfolio from sales strategy through to event execution. Youll build strong client relationships lead premium events on-site and position our resort as the Hunter Valleys premier destination for celebrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in weddings and social events
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
• Represent the resort at bridal expos and industry events
• Oversee the planning and delivery of high-end weddings and social functions
• Collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional event experiences
• Identify opportunities for growth. 

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

• 3 years experience in wedding or event sales and management
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Proven success in achieving sales targets
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings for events
