Description:

As our Business Development Manager (MICE) you will seek out new business opportunities within the Conference & Events sector driving revenue with your exceptional expertise. This position is a fixed-term 12-month Parental Leave Cover.

You will develop and nurture strong sophisticated relationships with corporate clients generating high-value leads and securing top-tier business for Pullman & Mercure. Your strategic vision and refined approach will highlight the characteristics of our overall hotel rooms products and services driving success through unmatched dedication.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving business development and managing accounts within the conference events and functions sector.
• Actively promote the area as a destination to boost business for our conference events and room nights.
• Taking a proactive and innovative approach to acquiring new conference and events business.
• Promoting and selling the hotels products and services including Food and Beverage.
• Collaborating with the Sales & Marketing department to establish clear effective systems for managing new business and its implementation.
• Maximising long-term returns for the hotel from both new and existing accounts.
• Working with operational departments to implement systems that ensure outstanding customer service and encourage repeat business from managed accounts.
• Partnering with the Marketing team to achieve the hotels overall strategic goals.
