Urgent requirement of Business Consultant - Permanent - Brisbane /Sydney
Requirements
Role Overview
Business Consultant with strong domain expertise in border management systems responsible for functional consulting requirement analysis and supporting solution design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements and contribute to solution design documents
- Translate requirements into user stories and manage backlog in ADO
- Collaborate with product owners stakeholders and technical teams
- Perform estimation using industry-standard techniques (e.g. Function Point)
- Support schema design and interface documentation (ICD)
- Participate in sprint planning reviews and release documentation
- Conduct functional test case reviews and ensure alignment with business needs
- Provide functional support to development and QA teams
- Analyse risks and ensure delivery alignment
Skills & Experience
- 10 years of BA experience with strong domain knowledge
- Experience with PNR DCS APP APIS messaging formats
- Strong understanding of border/security domain and risk rules
- Hands-on with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Knowledge of XML and interface design
- Experience in Agile delivery environments
Skill Required: Domain should be Borders and Travels (travel and airlines)
Duration: Permanent position
Eligibility: Australian Citizens as Baseline clearance is mandatory
