Job Summary
Urgent requirement of Business Analyst (Supply chain freight management and logistics industry) - Contract - Melbourne
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in Supply Chain Logistics or Freight Management domains.
- Strong understanding of:
- Experience working on TMS or logistics transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models.
- Experience with requirements management tools (Jira Confluence Azure DevOps etc.).
- Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
- Collaborative proactive and delivery-driven
Required Technical Skill Set:
o End-to-end transportation lifecycle
o Freight order management
o Carrier onboarding and management
o Route planning & optimization
o Logistics operations KPIs and SLAs
Customer and outcome-focused approach
Must Have:
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in Supply Chain Logistics or Freight Management domains.
- Elicit and analyse business requirements across supply chain freight and logistics operations.
- Define and document BRDs FSDs user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with business operations and IT teams to translate logistics needs into system solutions.
- Support TMS transportation and logistics transformation initiatives.
- Manage requirement prioritisation scope and traceability in Agile delivery models.
- Support SIT/UAT business validation and golive readiness.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and operational leadership.
- Communicate complex logistics concepts in a clear and structured manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
Work effectively in multi-vendor onshoreoffshore delivery models.
Good to Have:
- Experience with leading TMS platforms (e.g. Blue Yonder SAP TM Manhattan Oracle).
- Knowledge of integration patterns (APIs microservices) across supply chain systems.
- Exposure to analytics reporting and logistics performance dashboards.
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or multi-vendor transformation programs.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (Chain of Responsibility safety regulatory reporting).
Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
