Job Summary
Position Overview
ANC is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team on a parental leave cover contract until June 2027.
The role can be based either in Bella Vista NSW or Notting Hill VIC.
In this role youll work closely with cross-functional teams to design define test and implement projects that enhance ANCs systems across people process and technology. Your work will play a critical role in helping us achieve our strategic goals and deliver smarter customer-focused solutions.
- Gather and Analyse Requirements: Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to collect and document detailed business requirements aligning them with ANCs strategic goals. Translate these into clear functional specifications user stories and process flows.
- Bridge Business and Technical Teams: Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams ensuring clarity alignment and mutual understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Support Solution Design: Participate in solution design discussions conduct feasibility gap and impact analyses and work with developers and architects to ensure proposed solutions are scalable cost-effective and fit-for-purpose.
- Testing and Change: Assist in developing and executing test plans coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system data and configurations. Support change management initiatives and provide training to end users.
- Contribute to Agile Delivery: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and reviews. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and address blockers promptly.
- Process Improvement & Documentation: Identify operational inefficiencies perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements. Develop and maintain documentation including process flows guides and manuals.
What are we looking for
- 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large enterprise with a proven track record in process and technology-based initiatives
- Strong understanding of Agile & Software development principles methodologies and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate transformational change across various organisational levels.
- Experience presentingbusiness cases impact analyses and feasibility studies to senior stakeholders
- Excellentcommunication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Technologically savvy proficient in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Power BI
- Relevantindustry certifications in Business Administration IT or related fields
- Experience working in a Transport/Logistics industry is a plus
