About the role:

As a Business Analyst at Shift youll work closely with teams from product operations and technology to create and implement scalable solutions that help us achieve our strategic goals. Youll play a key role in defining business requirements streamlining and documenting processes and building adaptable frameworks for our fast-paced environment. What youll do:

• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to capture business needs and objectives translating them into clear specifications

• Assess risks impacts and dependencies across functions taking proactive action as needed

• Develop and propose scalable solutions that align with company and enterprise strategies

• Analyse and document current and future state processes; identify gaps and recommend operational improvements

• Design and validate customer journeys processes and data flows with a focus on business outcomes

• Partner with technical and operational teams on change management and implementation plans

• Document system interfaces data integrations and ensure requirements traceability

• Contribute to business cases including impact assessments and cost/benefit analyses

• Support project delivery by helping manage timelines scope and governance

• Create and maintain clear project artefacts and documentation

• Lead workshops and facilitate cross-functional stakeholder alignment

• Mentor junior analysts and help drive a culture of continuous improvement

• Define and execute test plans oversee UAT and help ensure requirements are met pre-deployment

• Ensure solutions comply with relevant financial services regulations and support audit and compliance activities

What youll bring:

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst ideally in operational or financial services environments

• Proven record of driving analysis for complex projects in fast-paced settings

• Ability to work across teams and functions

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinkingtranslating business needs into solutions

• Excellent stakeholder engagement influencing and communication skills

• Advanced process documentation and problem-solving skills

• Self-starter with independence and the ability to juggle competing priorities

• Experience leading workshops and facilitating group alignment

• Skills in project management relationship building and active listening

• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct authority
