Brush cutting & Mowing Team Member Night

Green by Nature is looking for a reliable and motivated Roadside Maintenance Operator to join our night shift team working across various roadside sites in the Ipswich central region. Please note that some day shift work may be required.

Youll be working across a range of roadside locations helping to keep public spaces safe tidy and well maintained:

Brush cutting and mowing roadside vegetation and open spaces

Operating zero-turn mowers brush cutters and related equipment safely and efficiently

Working in proximity to live traffic (traffic awareness / working near traffic training required & provided if needed)

Completing basic equipment checks and maintenance

Carrying out scheduled maintenance and service requests across multiple Ipswich roadside sites

Following strict safety procedures at all times

Working as part of a supportive team on night shift operations

Night shift role (day shift experience is welcome night shift experience is beneficial but not essential)

Ipswich-based with travel across various roadside sites in the central region

Working across multiple locations each shift

Competitive hourly rate (with potential shift loadings)

Monday to Friday roster early starts/finishes depending on shift schedule

Uniform and PPE supplied

Training provided for working in proximity to traffic (if not already held)

Experience in brush cutting and/or roadside mowing

Ability to operate commercial mowing equipment safely

Current Manual Driver Licence

Construction White Card

Traffic Management experience highly regarded (not essential)

Willingness to work night shifts

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Strong focus on safety reliability and attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team

This role involves working near live traffic so safety is critical. Full training and guidance will be provided to ensure you are confident and compliant when working in these environments.
