We have an exciting temporary opportunity to join the EPA as a Behavioural Insights this role you will lead and manage the Behavioural Insights team in the development and implementation of projects and programs that support enhanced environmental sustainability drive positive behaviour change and lead to improved regulatory outcomes through delivery of state-wide programs.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Proven leadership in behavioural change programs ideally in waste sustainability or regulatory environment with the ability to coach develop and motivate high performing teams
- Strong program and financial management skills including planning briefing budgeting resource allocation and delivering projects on time on scope and within delegated authority
- Sharp analytical and strategic judgement to identify emerging issues trends and risks and to develop frameworks policies and tools that translate behaviour insights into practical interventions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across community industry and Government with the confidence to represent programs in forums committees and conference and build shared commitment
- Resilience and diplomacy to shift entrenched attitudes and balance technical legal and policy considerations pragmatically building broad acceptance of NSW Government policy among stakeholders with strong and often opposing views.
