Job Summary

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner you will be responsible for providing support to participants carers and families int he followign ways.

Youll be doing things like:
Evaluating developing & delivering evidence-based support plans
Creating meaningful goals using a positive behaviour support framework
Building capacity in the people who support our participants families carers friends support workers
Working alongside a brilliant multidisciplinary team
Championing the reduction (and elimination!) of restrictive practices

And because we like to keep it real:
This is NOT a stepping stone to becoming a psychologist.
Its a meaningful legitimate highly skilled career all on its own.

About You

Youll thrive with us if you:
Have a degree in OT Speech Pathology Psychology Social Work or similar
Live within a 20 minute radius of either Melton
Have experience reading or creating implementing or reviewing behaviour support plans
Have a genuine passion for disability support
Have experience working with challenging behaviours
Love working with humans AND are competent with writing reprots (Yes there will be paperwork)
