Lily Lagoon Resort is seeking a motivated and hands-on Bar Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation of our bar while contributing to the success of one of the Kimberleys most iconic hospitality destinations.

Key Duties

The Bar Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the bar ensuring exceptional customer service efficient service standards and compliance with all liquor licensing and workplace regulations. The role involves supervising bar staff maintaining stock control supporting training and development and creating a welcoming environment that delivers an outstanding guest experience. Due to the remote nature of our business the bar supervisor will be expected to assist in other facets of the resort operations when required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a bar supervisory or senior bartender role.
  • Strong knowledge of beer wine spirits and cocktail preparation.
  • Experience supervising and leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Cash handling and POS system experience.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • Current WA Unrestricted Approved Manager Card or the ability to obtain one before commencing employment.
  • Experience leading culturally diverse teams including Aboriginal employees in a remote location.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in all beverage sales including Cocktails Barista and take away sales.
  • Minimum 12 Months experience in hotel resort or tourism operations.
  • First Aid certificate.

Pre-employment requirements

  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (not older than 6 months)
  • Current Working with children clearance
  • Current Australian unrestricted C class Drivers license

Annual salary $75000 to $80000 exclusive of superannuation
