Role: AWS Architect

Location: Sydney NSW Australia

Experience: 13 yrs

Must Have Experience:

• Design and deploy scalable highly available and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust cloud architectures
• Lead cloud strategy migration and modernization initiatives
• Select appropriate AWS services (compute storage database networking security)
• Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework (security reliability performance cost)
• Define architecture standards guidelines and reusable patterns
• Conduct architecture reviews (HLD/LLD) and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models into applications
• Ensure data security governance and ethical AI usage
• Strong understanding of microservices distributed systems and API integration
• Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD containerization Kubernetes preferred)
• Knowledge of monitoring logging and automation tools
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2 S3 RDS Lambda API Gateway VPC CloudFormation

Good to Have experience:

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in cloud migration and modernization
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Architect solutions leveraging AI/ML services (Amazon SageMaker Bedrock Comprehend etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Design GenAI-based use cases such as:
• RAG-based solutions
• AI agents / automation workflows
• NLP / document intelligence solutions
