Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients including bulk dozer push coal quality and recovery mobile crushing civil works and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop and a Queensland operations office we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently expanding our maintenance team with an experienced Auto Electrician. This is an opportunity to join a team working on in-house Mineco owned and operated large scale civil and mining equipment.

About the Role

• Perform diagnostics and maintenance of electrical systems on large-scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks Dozers & Loaders Hitachi Excavators & Mobile Crushers and Screens.
• Carry out fault finding repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical CANBUS air conditioning and control systems.
• Conduct detailed inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance reliability and safety.
• Assist with machine upgrades electrical component replacements and commissioning activities.

The Successful Applicant Will Have the Following Skills and Experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
• Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earthmoving industry.
• Demonstrated experience working with CAT Hitachi Liebherr or other large earthmoving equipment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
