Croft & Fisher is partnering with a respected professional services firm to appoint an Audit & Advisory Accountant to its Cairns-based team.

Supporting external audit engagements from planning through to completion
Performing audit fieldwork testing and documentation
Assisting with audit planning and risk assessments
Preparing working papers and draft audit outputs
Liaising with clients during engagements under senior guidance
Contributing to advisory and assurance projects as required
Working within established audit methodologies and quality frameworks
24 years experience in external audit or assurance within public practice
Degree qualified in Accounting
CA or CPA (in progress or intending to commence) highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Professional communication and client-facing capability
A demonstrated connection to the Cairns region (e.g. currently based in Cairns returning to the region family ties long-term relocation plans)
Seeking long-term stability and career progression in North Queensland
