Associate/Technical Director Project / Study Management & Team Leader

What youll do

As an Associate/Technical Director Project / Study Management & Team Leader in our Industrial Mechanical team basedin Perthyoullcontributetoprojects and programs thatmake a real difference and be part ofateamthat embraces challenges welcomes diverse ideas and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

  • Lead major resource sector projects and studies from opportunity definition through to study delivery.

  • Manage scope schedule budget risk and quality to meet client and project requirements.

  • Translate client objectives into clear execution plans governance and accountable workstreams.

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and resources to deliver integrated high-quality study outcomes.

  • Build trusted client relationships identify opportunities and support the development of winning proposals.

  • Prepare and review study reports and presentations including financial evaluations risks and opportunities.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team driving technical excellence collaboration and successful project outcomes.

  • Contribute to Service Group business plan and growth activities

  • Represent Aurecon throughout the complete project lifecycle ensuring client satisfaction

What youll bring
  • A relevant engineering qualification preferably in mechanical engineering

  • Extensive project and study management experience within the resources sector preferably with iron ore experience.

  • Demonstrated opportunity management experience and strong commercial awareness in a consulting environment.

  • Experience working with tier one iron ore or other major resources clients will be highly regarded.

  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to work effectively in lean teams with a strong technical understanding.

  • Strong communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills with a focus on practical outcomes.
