Our team

Our Insurance Risk team is built on deep industry expertise strong technical knowledge and a commitment to mentoring junior professionals in the evolving field of insurance law. The team works across all areas of insurance assisting clients to resolve claims promptly and efficiently through a professional and balanced approach. We work with schools institutions governments insurers and businesses to manage claims and provide advice on all aspects of insurance law and risk mitigation.

About you

• An Associate or Senior Associate with 3-6 years PAE with defendant insurance experience or experience working with government and institutions;
• A willingness to learn and broaden your knowledge of insurance claims;
• Excellent research analytical and drafting skills;
• Experience in public liability claims within Queensland and/or New South Wales;
• An interest in collaboration problem solving and contributing to a culture of excellence;
• A demonstrated ability to manage caseloads; and
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing fast-paced team environment meet deadlines support colleagues and build strong working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to support and mentor juniors in the team
