We currently have a fantastic opportunity in our BrisbaneCommercial Litigation team for an Associate or Senior with a close-knit and inclusive team you will work in abroad variety of commercial litigation matters covering disputes inthe infrastructure & mining consumer markets regulatory realestate transport and government sectors.

Responsibilities

• Draft advices pleadings and prepare matters for hearing
• Attend witness conferences and prepare affidavits and witness statements
• Brief senior and junior Counsel
• Appear in directions hearings and conferences
• Prepare for and attend court and mediations
• Mentor graduates summer clerks and junior lawyers
• Assist with business development and marketing initiatives

Requirements

• At least 3 years PQE in a reputable commercial litigation team with experience across a broad range of commercial litigation matters
• Commercial approach and experience dealing with complex transactions
• Exceptional client liaison skills
• Excellent analytical technical and drafting skills
