What youll do
As our new Associate Electrical Engineer youll play a key leadership role within our NSW&ACT Buildings business. Youll lead the delivery of major projects build trusted client relationships and help shape the future growth of our Electrical team.
Working closely with our Practice Leaders and Market Leaders youll influence both technical excellence and business outcomes while mentoring engineers across all career stages.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of major multidisciplinary building projects.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and developing long-term relationships.
- Providing technical leadership and quality assurance across project teams.
- Leading and mentoring engineers helping develop technical capability across the business.
- Supporting project commercial performance resource planning and delivery.
- Contributing to winning new work through proposals client engagement and market development.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement across our Buildings business.
Youll have the opportunity to lead projects across:
- Defence
- Data Centres
- Transport
- Aviation
What are we looking for from you
Were looking for an experienced engineering leader who enjoys developing people building client relationships and delivering technically outstanding projects.
Youll demonstrate experience in:
- Low Voltage power systems
- Leading multidisciplinary electrical design teams.
- Managing project delivery from proposal through to completion.
- Client relationship management and business development.
- Technical leadership across complex building services projects.
- Mentoring and developing engineers.
Strong capability in:
- Low Voltage systems
- High Voltage systems (desirable)
- Mission critical facilities
- Earthing and lightning protection
- Standby generation and UPS
- Building services electrical design
Experience in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable:
- Defence
- Data Centres
- Aviation
- Transport
Youll also ideally possess:
- Chartered Professional Engineer (or working towards Chartership).
- Demonstrated commercial awareness.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Experience managing project financial performance.
- Existing client relationships within the NSW Buildings market would be advantageous.
