Associate Director of Sales

This is a senior sales leadership role focused on driving commercial performance market growth and strategic client engagement across key segments.

You will play a key role in shaping sales direction strengthening market presence and supporting a high-performing commercial team within a global hotel environment. Working closely with senior leadership you will influence strategy and contribute to overall revenue outcomes while continuing to grow your leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing sales and events team
• Drive revenue growth across MICE C&E Corporate Inbound and Wholesale segments
• Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities
• Manage and grow key client relationships and strategic accounts
• Oversee sales activity pipeline performance and conversion outcomes
• Develop and execute targeted sales activity across key market segments
• Contribute to forecasting budgeting and commercial reporting
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Accor sales teams
• Position the hotel as a leading conference destination in Cairns
• Champion Pullman brand standards and Accor Live Limitless engagement

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in senior hotel sales or sales leadership role
• Strong background in Conference & Events and/or MICE markets
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and market share
• Experience leading coaching or mentoring sales teams
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of hotel revenue drivers
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Experience within Accor or international hotel groups highly regarded
• Familiarity with Accor Live Limitless strongly desirable
• Degree in Business Marketing or Hospitality preferred
• Full Australian working rights required
