Associate Cost Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Cost Manager to join our growing Real Estate team delivering high-quality cost management services across a diverse portfolio of developments including commercial residential mixed-use and urban regeneration projects.
You will take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery often on large or complex property projects acting as the key day-to-day client interface to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cost management across real estate development projects
- Act as the primary client contact ensuring successful project delivery against cost time and quality objectives
- Prepare and manage cost plans estimates procurement and tender processes
- Oversee post-contract activities including cost reporting valuations and change control
- Monitor project financial performance including forecasting and resource management
- Build strong relationships with clients developers and project stakeholders
- Support business development through bids client engagement and market opportunities
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team and process improvements
Qualifications :
Education & Professional Accreditation
- Degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management Property or a related discipline
- MRICS AIQS or equivalent professional qualification (or working towards)
Experience & Skills
- 611 years experience in cost management or quantity surveying
- Proven experience delivering consultancy services on real estate or property developments
- Experience leading cost management commissions on medium to large-scale commercial residential or mixed-use projects
- Strong understanding of the full real estate development lifecycle from feasibility through to post-completion
- Solid knowledge of construction and commercial principles including procurement routes value management and cost control
- Experience managing or mentoring teams within a project environment
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
