About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys multitasking across a variety of priorities building relationships with stakeholders and contributing to meaningful outcomes that support government industry and communities. You will engage with colleagues and stakeholders across government and industry coordinate meetings and events prepare briefing materials and help facilitate informed decision-making that supports safe and sustainable exploration and mining in NSW.
About You
We are seeking a proactive and organised professional who enjoys building strong relationships and contributing to successful project outcomes. You are someone who takes ownership of your work demonstrates integrity and accountability and thrives in a team-oriented environment. With strong organisational skills and sound judgement you can adapt to changing priorities coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and build productive working relationships with stakeholders.
To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience providing project administrative or coordination support in a dynamic environment where priorities can change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare clear documentation and communicate with diverse stakeholders
- The ability to plan prioritise and manage competing tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- A curious growth-oriented mindset with a desire to learn new systems processes and subject matter
- Sound research and analytical skills to support evidence-based decision-making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using information management systems
- A collaborative approach including commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
