Job Summary
Join our team as an Assistant Night Manager and play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences. We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who is committed to delivering exceptional service and building genuine connections with our guests throughout every stage of their stay.
Working overnight you will oversee the smooth operation of the hotel ensuring our guests receive outstanding service while maintaining operational excellence and supporting the Night Manager in leading the Front Office team.
What You Will Be Doing:
As our Assistant Night Manager you will:
- Deliver exceptional guest service by efficiently managing guest arrivals departures and overnight enquiries.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Complete the Night Audit End of Day procedures and accurately balance daily financial transactions.
- Post outstanding charges and reconcile guest accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Lead by example responding proactively and professionally to guest requests and resolving issues with confidence and care.
- Handle guest complaints effectively ensuring timely resolutions that exceed expectations wherever possible.
- Support coach and guide team members throughout the shift promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Assist operational departments during peak periods to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Maintain the safety and security of guests team members and the property by following all health safety and security procedures.
- Take responsibility for the efficient operation of the hotel between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am acting as the senior leader on duty during overnight operations.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies procedures and brand standards at all times.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in a Front Office leadership role within a hotel environment.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make decisions independently.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Sound financial acumen and attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible approach to working overnight shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
