About the role:
We are seeking casual AINs (Assistant in Nursing) to join our team and provide high-quality compassionate care to patients. This is a casual position offering flexibility across a range of shifts. Availability for night duty will be highly desirable with applicants expected to have flexibility to work across different shift times including weekends and public holidays as required. This is a great opportunity for AINs looking to gain valuable hospital experience while working as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Your main duties will include:
- Providing compassionate person-centred care and support to patients under the direction of nursing staff.
- Assisting with activities of daily living including personal care mobility hygiene and patient comfort.
- Supporting the nursing team with maintaining a safe clean and positive environment while following hospital policies and procedures.
About you
- Enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing (Year 2 onwards)
- Previous experience as an AIN in a hospital or healthcare setting desirable but not essential
- Ability to work flexibly across a range of shifts.
- Last-minute availability and night duty availability highly desirable.
