The Role

The Assistant Case Manager role is responsible for supporting the Dental Claims & Investigation Management team in the following by investigating and conducting allocated matters undertaking filereviews and ensure efficient progress of matters in accordance with documented protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and progressallocateddental legal matters ina timelyaccurateand efficient mannerin accordance withorganisationalprotocols.
  • Ensure matters are actively managedupdatedand progressed in line with documented proceduresservicestandardsandtimeframes.
  • Respond professionally to enquiries from members in-house legal staff external lawyers dental expertsand independent experts.
  • Conduct regular file reviews and recommendappropriate follow-upactions to support effective caseoutcomes.
  • Support Dental Case Managers in the management of dental legal matters as directed including administrative and operationalassistance.
  • Liaise with the Underwriting team to ensure underwriting protocols are adhered to in decision-making processes.
  • Maintain strict compliance with AHPRA requirements and relevant regulatory obligations at all times.
  • Ensureaccuratecompleteand consistent use of the Case Management System (CMS) forrecordingmonitoringand reporting matters.
  • Identifyopportunities to enhance proactive file management and contribute to improved case management practices.
  • Review policies proceduresprocessesand file lifecycles and contribute to recommendations and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 3years experienceinaclaims supportrolein thehealthcareinsuranceorlegal sector.
  • Experience with personal injuryclaimsis highly desirable.
  • Formalinsuranceand/orlegalqualificationswouldbebeneficialbutnotessential.
  • Proactive results-orientedapproacheschallenges with a positive mindset and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to adapt embrace change and continuously develop new skills to support organisational growth.
  • Excellent time management & workflowprioritisationto consistently meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative and effective communicator build andmaintainstrong relationships with teams andstakeholders across theorganisation.
  • Demonstrates accountability embraces feedback and navigates challenges thoughtfully & constructively.
