  • As part of establishing the Development Coordination Authority (DCA) we have a vacancy available for current ongoing Clerk Grade 5/6 employees (or equivalent grade) or temporary employees who have been comparatively assessed at Clerk Grade 5/6 grade(or equivalent grade) in their current role to submit an expression of interest for this role

  • Clerk Grade 5/6 salary ranges from $99938 to $110271 super

TheDevelopment Coordination Authority (DCA)has been established to strengthen how NSW Government agencies work together within the development assessment system. Acting as a central coordination point for agency advice the Authority will streamline referral processes resolve issues earlier and deliver clearer more consistent input to consent authoritiessupporting faster better-informed planning outcomes across NSW.

Joining the DCA presents a unique opportunity to help shape and embed a new operating model for planning coordination contributing directly to system reform and the delivery of housing infrastructure and sustainable communities across the State.

The role

Youll play a hands-on role keeping the business movingcoordinating meetings managing records preparing reports and supporting projects so the team can deliver its program of work smoothly and on time. Its a varied role where your admin and business support skills directly help shape how daytoday operations run across the Authority.

Youll be trusted to juggle competing priorities work independently and handle sensitive information with care while still being responsive and helpful to a wide range of stakeholders. Theres also real scope to spot better ways of doing things improve processes and step into special projects as they arise.

What you will bring to the role

  • High-level administrative skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal to collaborate effectively
  • Enjoys autonomy and works confidently and independently taking initiative
  • Maintains strong attention to detailwhile managing highvolume workloads

Eligibility Eligible employees are required to be at-grade or at an equivalent level; and either ongoing public service employees or fixed term employees who have been comparatively assessed at-grade in their current role.
