About the role:

Our Assistant Branch Managers support the Branch Manager with operations and the day-to-day running of the branch; oversee and supervise a team of trade and Industrial specialists ensuring their success; maintain a safe workplace.

Duties include:

• Coach develop and support a small team of trade sales & packing team members to reach their full potential
• Provide sales and service to trade industrial & mining customers leveraging your expert automotive parts/mechanical knowledge
• Manage & resolve customer issues/complaints in a timely & professional manner
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home

Note this role will require lifting bending & climbing.

Who were looking for:

• Supervisory experience or ready to take the next step in your career
• Previous trade/industrial experience including sales wholesale and/or workshop operations experience (desirable)
• Experience building strong relationships with all customers; creating moments that matter
• A solution-focussed problem-solver
• Sound computer skills
• Conscious of workplace safety always
• Hold a valid drivers license
