The Strategy Projects & Support team in Taxes & Grants are tasked with supporting the Executive Directors office and business units across the division to deliver a range of strategic functions that enhance engagement improve business operations build capability and support effective executive communications. The team is responsible for leading a structured and collaborative approach to keep the Executive Directors office well-informed and equipped to drive key objectives efficiently.

Your day-to-day
In this role you will support the Taxes & Grants Strategy Projects & Support team by providing practical administrative coordination and business support across a range of divisional priorities. You will help maintain information coordinate activities support reporting and communication tasks respond to stakeholder enquiries and contribute to the smooth delivery of initiatives that support the Executive Directors office and business units across Taxes & Grants.

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

  • Extensive and current Taxes & Grants product knowledge with demonstrated experience working across all Taxes & Grants business units.
  • Experience providing administrative coordination or business support in a busy team environment.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing tasks follow up actions and support work to be completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare simple updates correspondence meeting notes and support material.
  • A collaborative and customer-focused approach with the ability to build positive working relationships and respond professionally to enquiries.
  • Attention to detail when maintaining records updating information checking documents and supporting reporting activities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office records management systems and other business tools to support efficient day-to-day operations.
  • A proactive attitude willingness to learn and ability to adapt to changing priorities across the team.

What will your day involve

  • Provide administrative and coordination support to assist the team with divisional priorities initiatives and business-as-usual activities.
  • Prepare and update documents spreadsheets registers meeting notes correspondence and other support materials.
  • Gather check and organise information to support reporting briefings communications and decision-making.
  • Coordinate meetings follow up actions maintain records and help keep team activities organised and on track.
  • Respond to routine enquiries share information and liaise with internal stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Use business systems and Microsoft Office tools to maintain accurate information and support efficient team processes.

We are looking for a motivated enthusiastic and flexible team player who will bring their extensive Taxes & Grants experience to lead and support initiatives that promote and communicate the value of Taxes & Grants across Revenue NSW and DCS.
